BOND'S BACKGROUND MAKES CHOICE EASY

A candidate's background is just as important to me as where he or she stands on the issues. I live in northern Lake County, and with the recent rise in your newspaper's coverage, I've been doing my homework on the state Senate candidates for the 31st District.

After an Internet search on the candidates, it quickly became clear who I was going to vote for in this election. Michael Bond's background in corporate finance is most impressive, and I know plenty of people who could only dream of having such an extensive resume.

At age 36, Bond has already climbed the ranks to the executive level at a Fortune 500 corporation while also sitting on the finance committee for the Woodland District School Board. His credentials and strong connection to the community makes me confident that he will be a great state senator.
