I recently met state Senate candidate Michael bond, and asked him about his vision for education reform in northern Lake County. I was relieved to finally meet candidate who seems not only determined to fix the crumbling school system, but also is personally dedicated to the issue. Recognizing the dire need for improvement he ran for, and currently serves on the woodland District School Board, to ensure that children like his own have every opportunity for a better education.

Using his background in finance and budget management, he has already made a tremendous impact in seeing that tax dollars are spent effectively on our children and their education. I commend Michael on his devotion to solving our imminent education crisis and find comfort in knowing that our next state senator is a man of great promise and potential.
